I was lucky enough to learn traditional and modern skills from some of the amazing craftspeople of South Cumbria and Lancashire through the Bill Hogarth Memorial Apprenticeship Trust (BHMAT), during a 3-year apprenticeship.
Their commitment to their craft and connection to their local woodlands inspires me. With Sheffield Woodcraft I want to contribute to making the fairer world I dream of, right here in Sheffield. By making functional wood products I hope to help strengthen our connection to our local woods and show that beautiful, biodiverse woodlands can also be a source of our livelihoods.
